Increased Cohort Prepares to Start Devon Championships

Nathaniel Rookes

This weekend marks the start of the 2020 Devon Championships and Dinnaton SC are proud to present the 27 swimmers who have achieved qualifying times for this year's event. This is a significant increase on last year's cohort of qualifiers, where we had 17 swimmers compete. This is also the most qualifiers Dinnaton have produced since the 2012 championships, in which the club saw 28 swimmers take part.

Furthermore, there are 10 swimmers who will be competing at their first ever County Championships: Elliot Ayers, Jasmine Bennett, Johnny Guerrier, Issy Hawling, Holly Haymes, Lottie Humphrey, Olivia Langdon, Ella Moss, Greg Thomas & Emily Vickery.

These swimmers will be joined and supported by our returning qualifiers: Gemma Bennett, Tia Crews, Rosie Cuming, Ella D'Cunha, Jasmine D'Cunha, Amelia Enticknap, Frida Gallego-Cooper, Megan Harris, Maddy Jones, Thomas Jones, Sophia King, Madison Oman, Isla Pollak, Haydn Stone, Lloyd Stone, Chris Thomas & Millie Tout.

The Championships take place on 4 weekends across a 6 week period. All our qualifiers have worked very hard to prepare and maintain a high level of performance so far this season and we are looking forward to seeing more successes in the coming weeks.
