Another successful day as a team today at the Devon Interclub Championship, where 11 clubs across the county battled it out in the pool for points in a full sprint event programme, an event Dinnaton haven't entered for a few years. I'm very proud to confirm that the club finished a very respectful 5th position with a decent points margin above those below. This is a very good achievement when considering we are up against clubs with squads as large as our entire club size. Whilst some individual performances were...

9 of our Performance Squad swimmers enjoyed a highly beneficial and fun week in Spain, with 15 hours of long course training completed, along with a couple land training sessions with some time for teambuilding and fun social actvities in between. The 9 swimmers are all targetting Regionals this Summer, with a few setting their sights on National Qualification at the end of the season and this week will have prepared them for the run-in to those major events.

So 2019 ends on a high note for us as Jas swims to a new personal best of 33.17 in the 50brst at the Swim England Winter Nationals. As the youngest and only 13 year old in the event, she placed 21st in the Youth (18 & under) category, whilst also clocking the 4th fastest short course time for a 13 year old girl in British history, an outstanding achievement on both counts! Well done Jas ⭐ This rounds off a fantastic start to the season where it is pleasing...
