Thank you to Dawlish Swimming Club for inviting us to your Level 4 Spring Sprint Gala, our development swimmers had a great time and look forward to coming again next year!

Thursday Dinnaton has travelled out of the South West since early 2020 for a Spanish Swim Camp, and before that the furthest the club had been was Portsmouth, still very much south and rather west, or Edinburgh, for Jas our last national contender. At the start of an extremely busy time in the season, we travelled to Millfield School to compete in the Yeovil Level 3 Easter Meet, with a chance to chalk up some last minute qualifications for the Regional Championships, as well as a good chance for younger swimmers to get some experience racing away from home. We are delighted to announce Megan Harris and Chris Thomas as our new team captains until Summer 2024. Megan and Chris are two long term Dinnaton members are stepping into the roles, and have selected Ruby Gove and Reuben Crosbyto be their vice captains. We can’t wait to see all four lead our team forward over the next season and a half! We would like to thank Tom Jones and Millie Tout for their work as Team Captains over the last couple of years, you guys did a great job!

A fantastic weekend of racing at the Two Counties with Caradon Swimming Club. A huge thank you to all the swimmers, officials, coaches, volunteers and spectators who contributed to making it such a fantastic weekend. It was a girls only competition for Dinnaton when we attended the PL Early Spring National Qualifier, though not by intention. Building more long course experience, Alice, Hattie, Tilly, Frida, Laila, Layla, Lillie, Darcy, Ruby, Hana and Grace competed across the weekend, as well as lots of sparkly face paints, nicknames and writing and drawing on each other! Well, it was International Women's day a few days ago afterall!

We are delighted to celebrate International Womens Day with our fantastic swimmers, our Assistant Coach Simone, our club officials and Volunteers! Thank you for all you do!

We had a great time in the 2023 Devon County Championships, with Darcy Henderson roaring onto the scene with a gold in the 50m Breaststroke. Medals for Laila Cater, Lillie Morris, Reuben Miles, while finals for Edna Gallego Cooper, Layla Swiggs, Felicity Ayers, Finley Smallshaw and Hana Wood made for a memorable competition. A long day of team racing, medals in the relay gala for Hana, Laila, Henri and Amelie in the 12/13 4 x 50 freestyle relay. Silver for Alice, Hattie, Ruby and Frida in the 14/15 4 x 50 free, and a bronze for Maddison, Rosie, Luke and Tom in the 4 x 50 mixed medley relay. Well done all!
