Dinnaton Swimming Club deliver an immensely strong start to 2019 Sunday saw the the end of the second weekend of the Devon County Championships, with Dinnaton Swimming Club’s results (who are based at McCaulays Health Club, Ivybridge), firmly establishing themselves as one of the leading swimming clubs in Devon/the South West! A really encouraging start to the Devon County Championships sees us leave with a fantastic 14 personal best times! We achieved 6 final places; Lloyd & Jas in the 100 backstroke; Ella, Frida, Gemma & Jas in the 50 breaststroke, picking up 3 medals in total 🥇🥈🥈 In addition, we have now gained 2 new Regional Qualifying times as well as 2 new consideration times with a few swims sitting just outside the required times. Huge well done to our fantastic team last night who swam in a friendly team gala again Devonport & Tavistock at the Life Centre. (Most) of our swimmers were from Junior & Development squads, giving them some great experience. Good fun, teamwork, support and positive atmosphere all round, well done!
