Daventry Dolphins is always on the look out for new volunteers and extra help to manage and support the club.

There are many different volunteering opportunities and roles to suit your skills and experience. Whether you can spare an hour a week or an hour a day, your time will really make a difference to our club and our swimmers.

Without volunteers the clubs like Daventry Dolphins would not be able to continue to operate.

Below you will find a list of club volunteer roles,including vacancies of current roles and those vacancies that are as a result of members not standing for re election at this years AGM .please click into each role to see what it involves.

Remember you don't have to be on the committee to take on a role within your club.


Club Chairman - Principle Officer will become Vacant November 2022 (Committee Role)

Club Secretary - Main point of contact for All will be become Vacant November 2022 (Committee Role)

Welfare Officer - This role is essential in providing a first point of contact for children, parents and adults within the club who have a child safeguarding or welfare concern.

Fundraising Officer - provides a central point of contact for fundraising queries and takes the lead on developing opportunities for accessing grants and funding.

Swim Mark Coordinator -  key point of contact for Swim Mark, Swim England’s recognized kite-mark for the development of effective, ethical and sustainable clubs.

Records Officer - Responsible for verifying and updating club records 

Officials, Events & Poolside Volunteers (Non Committee Role)

Team Manager - The Team Manager ensures team cohesion at aquatic events and competitions.  This may include the organisation of the logistics where the competition is at a different venue.
