​All star athletes, Michael Phelps, Rebecca Adlington, Adam Peaty, started somewhere, learning the very basics of their sport.

Every elite athlete, from any sport, understands the importance of those early years in the sport, and the development pathway which stems from it. That is where their love began.

Here at Leicester Sharks CSC, we are building strong foundations with Swim Schools around the area, giving children the chance to continue their improvement and enjoyment in the water. While we obviously have an incredible Swim School set up ourselves, we have also forged a strong relationship with Penguins Swim Academy and are continuing to support kids wanting to explore the competitive world of swimming from swim schools across Leicestershire and it's surrounding areas.

​Penguins Swim Academy are based in the Great Glen area of Leicester with close links to Swim Therapy, Europe's premier video analysis swim technique centre. They provide high quality teaching and a friendly, safe environment for 3+year olds to learn to swim and transition smoothly on to competitive swimming.
