Coaches Pete, Neil, Paul and Maarten welcome back swimmers on Monday 12th April, after 115 days of forced closure. It's so good to see our members back in the water, and see friends meeting again. The club is back to running its normal program of sessions for all members except those aged over 18 who will have to wait until 17th May when further restrictions can be lifted. Paul Hilditch, Ben Lomax and Gemma Hall from EPSC joined other Kent County masters swimmers at Tonbridge outdoor pool last night. The current restrictions prevent our adult swimmers from swimming indoors with the club until 17th May, and so Keith Roshier from Tonbridge SC organised five Monday night sessions in the outdoor pool and invited other Kent masters swimmers along. The pool is heated but finishing at 10pm and then having to dry off and change outdoors in 1°C was certainly cold.
