What a fabulous Woking Octopus gala A huge congratulations and well done to our swimmers who placed our club overall 3rd in points ranking and came away with a few wonderful hot heat octopus toys. We had a few first time gala swimmers from A2 who did brilliantly and should be very proud of themselves. What an incredible weekend!!! Our County, A1 and A2 squads all did a disctance swim for swimathon or completed their T75 on Friday or Saturday this weekend. Some of the county swimmers clocked 6.8k each on Friday night in tadworth, which is just impressive in itself. However we did not stop there, the results overall are just mindblowing - we had 58 partipating swimmers and a distance of 230k Huge congratulations to the swimmers, and a special THANK YOU to the parent organisers and of course without Greg and Sadie...

A great last weekend to wrap up some fantatic swimming at regionals this weekend. Its been pretty intense 3 weeeknds, with our wonderful qualifiers giving it their best. We have some fantastic PBs, and some medals to hang up. Well done swimmers - you did us proud! A special note of thanks to Head Coach Magda for being there and helping the swimmers performance, and coach some of them through their first ever regionals. A great experience and a good learning one for all. WELL DONE!!!

Well done to our swimmers! South East Region includes some of the most successful clubs in South of England which covers from Milton Keynes & Jersey, right down to the South Coast. The swimmers selected to compete are, in older age groups and particularly middle/longer distances events, limited to 12-16 per event. In the open age group we saw members of the under 23 junior GB team competing ( such as Eva Okaro, Lucy Fox). As you know we are very lucky to have swimmers who qualified to be there....

Well Done to the Swimmers who swam this last weekend in South - Eastern Summer Regional Championships 2023. They all showed up with great enthusiasm, attitude and swam their absolute best. We had some fantastic PBs, and brilliant swims by all. We competed in 5 finals - Annabelle V.Z, Lilly L, 2x Matthew V.Z, Kian D. A hugely special mention as the first medal for the club was awarded to Matthew for his 1500m (Bronze). Well done to you all!! Lets see how we go for next weekend, looking forward...

What an amzing few weeks and results we have had - massive congratulations to the swimmers (here is a short recap): Poppy L represented EDSC at the british champs for the 200m Fly event and came away with a fantastic PB and overall 6th for the Junior Finals. Congratulations to all our swimmers that took part in Surrey County Championships 2023 this weekend. We collected 19 medals: 5 Gold 5 Silver 9 Bronze One special mention and Congratulations needs to go to Annabelle Van Zyl. She achieved a phenomenal 3rd place overall in her age group!!
