Team Waveney was formed at the start of 2020, when two local clubs, Beccles Kingfishers and Lowestoft & Oulton Broad, came together to form one community club.

Team Waveney are based at Lowesoft, Beccles and Bungay swimming pools, offering swimmers of all ages and ability the chance to develop and learn the competitive side of swimming in a safe and friendly environment.

Over recent years the two clubs have seen a number of team and individual successes in the pool at a range of competitive levels such as ASA Development Champs, ASA Suffolk County Champs and ASA East Regional Champs.

Our Masters swimmers aged 18+ are also very successful competing in Regional, National and International Competitions and winning National titles and Regional Records in the process.

All sessions are run by our successful team of qualified teachers and coaches. This is backed up by our strong committee whose aim is to help continue the clubs progression and offer competitive opportunities to all its members.
