TIME TRIALS ARE ON! We are pleased to confirm that we will be able to go ahead with the time trials tomorrow. The pool temperature is dropping and should just be suitable for competition. Please see the revised schedule below. We have had to move the 400m events into the last session to give more time for the pool to cool. Please ensure swimmers have ample drinks. We would like to thank you for your patience and cooperation, and we look forward to seeing you tomorrow, in a slightly cooler...

URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE COPS TIME-TRIAL MEET Due to a fault the water temperature at the Regional Pool is high and continuing to rise. Having taken advice, the temperature is too warm for competition. The pool is waiting for an engineer to visit this afternoon to fix the issue. Please watch for further communications and our apologies,...

The first ever COPS Virtual Race Day was hosted online on Monday. This was a slight twist on the normal competition of racing; rather than aiming to beat their personal bests, on this occasion the swimmers were aiming to match them. 68 excited COPS members entered the Sprintastic event, and although they were all at home in their living rooms, many donned their normal race gear to get in to the spirit of the event. Once online, the swimmers were tasked with using self imagery to visualise what their perfect...

The first Friday after Christmas saw swimmers from several Cambridgeshire clubs meet at Oundle School Swimming Pool to join together for a fantastic camp. The day saw the young swimmers participate in two pool sessions, one focused on building a strong base to the stroke with an effective kick, and the second session working towards increasing stroke efficiency. In between the pool sessions, the swimmers were also lucky enough to have an educational session on nutrition. They learnt about how a well balanced diet can improve training performance, the best...
