COPS sent a team of 28 swimmers to the East Region Winter Short Course Championships and came away with some stunning performances, winning TOP TEAM AWARD! Cops finished top for the medal table with 14 Gold, 8 Silver and 7 Bronze medals! Congratulations to Jamie Scholes on achieving his first Great Britain cap representing British Swimming in the LEN European Junior Open Water Championships in Malta. Jamie raced in the 10km marathon race and finished 21st, 2nd Brit in only his 2nd 10km race. There were impressive performances in and out of the pool for City of Peterborough Swimming Club (COPS) at the weekend. In the pool, the club dominated the annual Cambs Cup competition in Cambridge, while in a reservoir somewhere near Ipswich, Harry Whiteman was storming to victory in the Great East Swim. Dear A & Youth Squad Members   Stanground have changed their practice to extend their learn to swim time for their own academy programme. This has had a direct impact on COPS training time and practise. City of Peterborough Swimming Club (COPS) just failed to hang on to top spot in the ASA East Region Championships after the second weekend of competition in Norwich. They dominated the first weekend in Luton, finishing on top of the medals table with 30 golds - five more than Hatfield.
