Another great afternoon at Arena League on Saturday. 4th place against some really top teams! Really impressive and another clear sign as to how much progress we are making as a club. Big thank you to all the swimmers, team managers, officials, coaches …. Again showing how far we have come in all areas! Some really tough swims and several swimmers had to dig deep and do some tough races for the team - hugely appreciated. Great to see their team meets at the end of the lane offering support!...

A look back on a fantastic 22/23 season....: What a season! But before I recap on the year, I firstly want to recognise the huge amount of hard work, the teamwork and leadership shown by our group of senior swimmers in the Performance and Competitive squads. Coming into this season they had been through such a tough 3 years - not just 2years of Covid lockdowns but also a 1year pool closure in 2019 during which they stuck together, focused on land training and persevered. Their hard work in training...

The only club to enter two teams into this years Hearts Major League, Tring Swimming Club were out to make their mark. And so they did in a stunning finale last weekend to the league competition, finishing first place to became league champions. Only the second time the club has achieved this in the last 10 years. The club also achieved an impressive fifth position in the league. Both teams were brilliant with some very gutsy performances from swimmers putting everything in to creep ahead in the rankings, and really...

Round 1 - Report from Team Captains A Team - Isabella Dolton, Ed Larner Everyone had a great time at the first round of Herts major league 2023. An exciting atmosphere and an inspiring league for all young swimmers - it was a great evening for Tring. For the first time Tring entered with two teams, the only club in the league to do so and had amazing achievements in both. B Team – Sophie Bradley, Tom Worthington Overall, the B team performed well and were very supportive of each...

As you know Tring Swimming Club is aiming to hold its first ever licensed Club Championships later this year. Not only is this the highlight of the swimmers diary where club records are smashed, it will also provide a valuable opportunity for swimmers to establish their latest official times - essential for competing. However, to get the licence we need Timekeepers to record the times of swimmers in races, and right now we don't have enough. It is the parents/carers of swimmers who volunteer to become a club’s Timekeepers. An...

Well done again to everyone for doing so well at this year’s first Splash Night! A record attendance (46 swimmers raced), and most importantly I hope everyone had a great time – make sure you get your results, as it's fantastic to see even faster progress than previously; every single swimmer did a personal best in at least one race, and this time a huge 82% of swims were personal bests. Again this is showing strong progress on our mission to help every one of our swimmers improve their skills...
