The ladies 1st weekend of the National League Championship 1 match report from Kamz. Game 1 v Tyldesley On Saturday, we went down fighting 12-9 to a strong Tyldesley side in an exciting end to end game that could have gone either way. Exeter created many chances and defended well but struggled to capitalise early in the game, allowing the fitter, sharper northwest side to pull away in the later stages. Game 2 v Bristol On Sunday, we defeated a physical Bristol side 10-5. After a cagey first half, we...

Our U13 team finished a fantastic undefeated 2021 season to be crowned Devon League Champions this weekend. With many of this team only starting water polo this year, and it being the first full season of matches for nearly all of them, this team has shown excellent team spirit and determined performances to come out on top. With the U13’s being the foundation of our club, we are very proud of everyone that played Devon League this year and look forward to seeing them all continuing their development in years...

Our U15’s had a very tough and closely fought Devon league top of the table clash vs Devonport last Sunday. Exe players showed great composure and character after finding themselves two goals behind at the beginning of the third quarter. Then with some great defending and four consecutive goals from Toby, Stan, Tula and Harry, they turned the game around and got themselves two up going into the last. All Exeter players gave 100% to win the last quarter 5-3, resulting in a great win. Final result Exeter 14 –...

This was an excellent opportunity to give experience to new / younger players. We kept it competitive for the first two periods, 9-9 just after halftime and then prioritised giving newer players gameplay for the second half. It ended up 22-13 to Bristol, but we came away giving lots of new kids their first game experience and all wanting more polo! Our player of the day went to Jess for some superb defending. Well done Jess! Many thanks to City of Bristol for such a warm welcome to their fantastic...
