Our U15’s had a very tough and closely fought Devon league top of the table clash vs Devonport last Sunday. Exe players showed great composure and character after finding themselves two goals behind at the beginning of the third quarter. Then with some great defending and four consecutive goals from Toby, Stan, Tula and Harry, they turned the game around and got themselves two up going into the last. All Exeter players gave 100% to win the last quarter 5-3, resulting in a great win. Final result Exeter 14 –...

This was an excellent opportunity to give experience to new / younger players. We kept it competitive for the first two periods, 9-9 just after halftime and then prioritised giving newer players gameplay for the second half. It ended up 22-13 to Bristol, but we came away giving lots of new kids their first game experience and all wanting more polo! Our player of the day went to Jess for some superb defending. Well done Jess! Many thanks to City of Bristol for such a warm welcome to their fantastic...

What a great achievement from our senior ladies team. In only their second year in national league and promotion last year they have won division 2 in phase 1 going undefeated. Match Reports from Coach Powell... Exeter v Bristol: After a nervy first-half ending 7-5 vs a physical Bristol side who defended well our fitness and numerical advantage showed through and we dominated the second half. Hazel Cutler saved 2 penalties in the game, Jasmine Coleman and Jess Garrad popped up with a collective 11 goals in the 15-8 victory....

Our U17’s had a hectic time of it last week with Devon league and Bristol & West fixtures (away vs Devonport - Tues, home vs Devonport - Fri, away vs Newton Abbott - Sat). All matches ended in defeat, but they gained confidence and came away a better team for it. With the vast majority of the players still bottom of the age group next year, we can see they are coming along nicely! Well done team, great effort by all.

Well done Exeter Men’s team who have secured a place in championship one in the British National League with two games to spare. The team beat two London teams Watford and Otter in London to gain the points needed to progress. This will allow the team to compete for Division one status in 2022 at phase 2. A strong squad performance and outstanding display from young keeper Theo Quantick after the injury to Toby Hogg earlier in the week.

This weekend saw a strong performance from our U15’s boys and girls, winning 23-10 vs Paignton away. The vast majority of our goals came from a solid defensive backline regaining possession, then feeding our team on the break. Great to also see the team developing a few across goal opportunities towards the end of the match. Job well done ♂️♀️ Goals from AJ (10), Toby M (6), Nick A (1), Thomas G (2), Harry C (1), and Poppy L (2).
