Congratulations to our U14’s for triple wins at the Devonport Friendly tournament. And thanks to Devonport for the invite and organising. The first game was a closely fought battle against Taunton, finishing 4-3 to Exeter. A very nervous and shaky starter game for Exeter, but understandably so due to not having full training sessions since mid-February. Second game vs Paignton, our team improved well after the first match and came back together with more decisive play in attack and defence, winning 6-1. They overcame a determined 06 age group GB squad 12-10, before hard-fought losses to firstly the Czech Republic supported by a partisan crowd 11-10,...

Our new U17s team played their very first Devon League match of the season, away at Newton Abbot. Against a much more mature and experienced team, in a difficult, half-shallow pool, coach Andy Saulter, was pleased with how his Exeter youngsters acquitted themselves. They refused to give up and were definitely seen to improve with each quarter of play. The final score was 15-4 to Newton Abbot but - given that our Exeter squad have not been able to train together for several months now and some of the players...
