Our U17’s had a hectic time of it last week with Devon league and Bristol & West fixtures (away vs Devonport - Tues, home vs Devonport - Fri, away vs Newton Abbott - Sat). All matches ended in defeat, but they gained confidence and came away a better team for it. With the vast majority of the players still bottom of the age group next year, we can see they are coming along nicely! Well done team, great effort by all.

Well done Exeter Men’s team who have secured a place in championship one in the British National League with two games to spare. The team beat two London teams Watford and Otter in London to gain the points needed to progress. This will allow the team to compete for Division one status in 2022 at phase 2. A strong squad performance and outstanding display from young keeper Theo Quantick after the injury to Toby Hogg earlier in the week.

This weekend saw a strong performance from our U15’s boys and girls, winning 23-10 vs Paignton away. The vast majority of our goals came from a solid defensive backline regaining possession, then feeding our team on the break. Great to also see the team developing a few across goal opportunities towards the end of the match. Job well done ♂️♀️ Goals from AJ (10), Toby M (6), Nick A (1), Thomas G (2), Harry C (1), and Poppy L (2).

Exeter put on an exceptional defensive display against a physical Rotherham side. Goalkeeper Nina Rickard’s made a couple of crucial 1v1 saves in the first 3/4’s helping to give Exeter a 5-1 going into the final quarter. A late fightback by Rotherham was quelled by an active Exeter drop and some excellent counter-attacking play by Jasmine Coleman and Nyah Tomlinson and the game finished 9-6.

An emphatic 17-3 win for Exeter against a determined Birmingham side where both exeter debutants Jess Street and 14 year old Darcey Tomlinson both scored!
