Group Structures
Coaching Roles and Training Squads
The following coaching structure is in place from September 2022.

Craig Steenhoff | Director of Swimming | Development of annual training plan with key competitions/objectives, development & fitness training plan and objectives, and provide assistance with coaching sessions |
Phil Osborn | Performance Coach | Lead Performance sessions in line with training plan and key aims and deliver top competitive training sets, meeting group and individual needs |
Tabby Reed | Senior Coach | Lead a variety of coaching group sessions, focusing on the Stamina group in line with training plan and key aims, and provide key liaison with Bede's School |
Miriam Cottingham | Masters Coach | Lead Masters sessions in line with training plan and key aims |
Laura Hickmott | Development Coach | Lead Stroke and Stamina sessions in line with training plan and key aims |

Training Squads
Performance (split into 1 & 2) - The top training squads in the club, swimming at a high competitive level with a variety of sessions to meet overall training needs;
Youth and Development - A transition group for swimmers developing their skills and ability before they enter the Performance squads, along with a training squad of older youth swimmers who do not wish to swim at a highly competitive level;
Stamina - A squad of swimmers who are developing their technique, skills and stamina to ensure that they can meet the overall training requirements met at a higher level.
Stroke - A squad of swimmers who are developing their technique in all strokes and are introduced to the skills needed for competitive swimming;
Masters - A squad of adult swimmers over the age of 19 who are both wishing to maintain their swimming fitness and compete at a Masters level.
