Laois Marlins at The Irish National Swimming Championships.

This year Laois Marlins had 2 of their own home grown Swimmers, achieve qualification times for the Irish National Championships in The National Aquatic Centre Dublin. Samuel Bourke-Carey & Kuba Krawczun achieved the times required. Unfortunately Kuba, was away for the Nationals this year, however he has his sights firmly sent on competing there next year.
Samuel Bourke-Carey made his debut at the Irish Nationals qualifying in the 100m and 200m Breast Stroke. Samuel gave a good performance on Day 1, staying close to his Personal Best, however, with the Help and Support of our Marlins Head Coach, Padraic Dolan, Samuel achieved a Great Personal Best in the 200m Breast Stroke on Day 2 to finish in 16th Place over all in his Age Division.
With the Cracking Times that Laois Marlins Swimmers Achieved at this years Division 2 Championships, Laois Marlins are planning to be well represented at Next Years Irish Nationals. Onwards and Upwards Laois Marlins
