Disability
Where possible, children with disabilities are integrated in the mainstream classes. We work in partnership with parents building a swimming journey that works for child, teacher and parent.
We also run disability classes where teaching and objectives are adapted to the meet the needs of each individual swimmer.
These sessions run on:
Tuesday 7:15pm – 8:00pm for swimmers over 11 years old – Diving pool
Tuesday 7:30pm – 8:15pm for swimmers over 11 years old – Main Pool
Friday 4:15pm – 4:45pm for swimmers from 4 to 11 years old.
All Disability sessions are designed and planned according to the needs of the child. Our programme will be designed to accommodate both group swimming and one to one sessions based on the needs and abilities of the swimmers.
