At the recent Irish Short Course Championship in Dublin two of our swimmers had the distinction of breaking an Ulster Junior Record. Having gone agonisingly and perhaps surpisingly close to the record at the Ulster Short Course Champs in October, Adam Colgan broke the Ulster Junior Record in the 200 Butterfly besting the time set by Ards man Paddy Johnston in November 2018. Adam's time of 2:02.06 seconds set in the heats, smashed the previous record by over 1.5 seconds (2:03.65). Adam went on to be crowned Irish Senior and...

Please see training and gala timetable for Christmas & New Year Period attached. We wish you all a very happy and peaceful Chistmas & New Year.

Monday 19th of September 2022 LVLP is closed and there will be no swimming for any squad (morning or evening) this is due to the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. Training will recommence as normal on Tuesday 20th of September.

LVLP have advised that we will have no training available to us on the evening of Thursday 17th March 2022. The LeisurePlex is closing early on that day due to the bank holiday and they have therefore had to cancel our booking

Today saw six of our junior swimmers travel to South Lake Leisure Cnetre near Craigavon for the second round of Swim Ulster #furturechallengers meet. 17 individual swims resulted in 17 PBs / NTs being set. The club also took part in the two relay events. Was a great morning of racing and lots of learning. Skills were good and lots of things to work on back in the training pool. Swimmers of the day have to be 10 year old Matthew B and 11 year old Zara M both from...

War Memorial 2021 Swim Ulster Commemorated the 100th Edition of this meet in the very impressive new South Lake Leisure Centre in Craigavon. This is one of the highlight meets of the season in Ulster and was sorely missed in 2020. Looking forward to a return to an unrestricted meet in 2022. Due to the venue restrictions we where only able to selected a team of 26 swimmers, essentially if we choose, that would equate to one team per event, originally we had over 60 swimmers selected, so to attend...

Ulster Short Course Championships 2021 5th - 7th November 2021 Day 1 A return to open competition saw the first holding of the Ulster Short Course Championships since November 2019 when the event was held in Lisburn under very different conditions and circumstances. 2 years later the swimmers were preparing for they first day of competition at Lisnasharragh Leisure Centre which replaced its predecessor - ‘The Robinson Centre’ and anyone who remembers the old centre will agree that the new facility is a welcome upgrade and superb addition to the...

Aspiring Champions Meet LVLP - Lisburn 16th & 17th October 2021 The recent Aspiring Champions Meet at LVLP allowed Lisburn swimmers aged 13 and over to finally get back to competition in familiar surroundings. A strong team of 40 with a mix of ‘old heads’ and some novices at this level acquitted themselves with distinction and given everything that has been thrown at them in the last 18 months they should be very proud of their achievements. The format of this meet departed from its predecessor, The Qualifying Meet, as...
