Almost 120 Brompton SC swimmers spent a few hours on Sunday afternoon racing for the first time in what felt like forever.!Although the day still had a friendly feel that comes from racing only against teammates and without too many officials, the swimmers performed incredible well overall with close to 85% of participants hitting at least 1 lifetime best and most coming away with a full compliment of new PB's. Although it was inevitable, it has still been frustrating for everyone involved that many of our swimmers have been sent home by their schools due to individuals within their “bubble” testing positive for Covid. With Winter coming and the overall infection rates rising throughout the country, this situation is likely to continue.
