Locations and Facilities

Durham City Aquatics is housed at Durham City’s premier Leisure Centre, Freemans Quay. This 8 lane 25m pool boasts training facilities inclusive of a well supplied gym, a dance and spinning studio and a humongous sports hall. As valued guests of Freemans Quay the club enjoys access to electronic timing equipment, anti-wave lane ropes, racing starting blocks and professional and dedicated staff.

In addition to our main pool, we also use a number of satellite pools. These include the historic and picturesque Durham School, with its 4 lane training pool and St.John’s Academy and its 3 lane training pool.
