Kicking off 2022, DCA opened the year at the Peterlee/Derwentside New Year meet at the Louisa Centre over the weekend of 8th/9th January. There were superb performances from swimmers across five squads ranging from our Youth/Senior swimmers in P1 down to our younger junior swimmers in C-Squad. In what turned out to be a relatively short meet (by usual experiences!) swimmers acquired additional N&D and NER Qualifying times as well as a hefty case of silverware! Massive well done to the swimmers involved to achieve more then 60% personal best...

For this competition, we had some help from some of our performance swimmers, Entry Squad were looked after entirely by Macie Hodgson, Bethany Coulson and Lizzie Ryan...

To taper or not to taper; the red racing suit or the blue; just how many...
