The qualifications and requirements of Coaches qualifications are detailed below:
Level 1 - First Level of coaching and allows you to assist a Level 2 coach. Minimum age is 16. This course runs over 5 days
Level 2 - Allows you to coach on your own. Minimum age is 17 and must already be a qualified Level 1 coach. This is a 9 day course.
Level 3 - Third Level of official. Minimum age is 18, must hold a Level 2 Coaches qualification. There are multiple levels of CPDs which need to be undertaken.

Funding is available for coaching courses from the South East Region Funding.
ONB can assist with funding which falls into the following categories, but is not limited to:
● Training/Coach Development (Levels 1, 2 and 3 coaching courses).
● Equipment (Technique aids, the purchase/repair/replacement of pool equipment).
● Athlete Development.

Members are requested to note that all requests for funding must be submitted direct to the Treasurer by the 1st of the month that an ONB mtg is held. This is to enable the Treasurer to complete her financial report for the ONB mtg in good time.
