Calling ALL Seals

Can you step-up to this years sponsored swim challenge to

“SUPPORT OUR SEALS”

We are going to be holding our annual sponsored swim during the last full week of training on the 14th, 16th, or 18th December, which will take part during your normal allocated swim session – the swim is for 30 minutes.

The session you complete your swim in will depend on when your allocated hour training session is, therefore:

  • Monday 7-8 pm                Monday 8-9 pm (advance swimmers only)
  • Wednesday 7-8 pm          Wednesday 8-9 pm
  • Friday 8-9 pm

NB: If you are one of our half-hour slot swimmers, please contact us and we will advise when you can do your swim.

We would like to encourage ALL our Seals to take part.

On the night of your swim, we are asking that this year, a SOCIALLY DISTANCED family member in the spectator gallery counts your lengths for you and adds it to your sponsor form.  This form will then be signed-off by a member of the coaching team to confirm your participation.

Sponsor money should be paid directly to the Oldham Seals bank account, stating the swimmers name as reference to:

Account Number: 00 63 42 39

Sort Code: 40-35-26.

We again would like to encourage you all to participate, especially during these difficult times, as it will not only be something for the swimmers to work towards, but will also provide a much-needed cash injection into the Club funds.

During this time of uncertainty and restrictions, we are trying to hold off any future fee increases but at the moment, your Club is running at a loss, month-on-month.  Whilst we are running on reduced numbers, our out-going costs are rising due to annual increases that have been passed to us by OCL, and a good turnout to the sponsored swim will be a fantastic boost for the swimmers morale and much-needed club funds.  Every penny counts!

If you have any questions, please get in touch.

We look forward to seeing you all again in December.

Keep well and safe
