The Portsmouth Northsea Master's Squad was in action yesterday at the Hampshire County Masters Championships 2021. Great to have the squad racing competitively again and there were fantastic swims all round! Hampshire is lucky to have a number of active Masters swimming squads, swimmers in this catergory are usually over 18 and the squad offers opportunities to swim for fun, fitness and to swim competitively. Level 4 short course meet As you may be aware we have had our licence granted for our level 4 meet in July. In order to get the licence granted we have to follow Swim England’s CV-19 guidance and National Government guidance for indoor activity so there are some differences to previous meets. If you are under 18 and would like to try out for one of our squads - we are running a free trial on Wednesday 4 June at 2pm to 3pm. We have a full range of squads to suit all ages and abilities. All our coaches are qualfied and we train mainly at the Mlountbatten Leisure Centre pool. Don't worry if you are not fully fit or haven't swum for a while - we are here to get you swim fit again and competing if you want to race....

We are thrilled to announce the following two initiatives: Advanced Swimming Sessions for amateur triathletes or open water swimmers who wish to improve their technique and endurance. These sessions will be run on Thursdays from 7:00am to 8:00am. Satellite Programme - this is an opportunity for any regional/national swimmers over 15 years old from all the local clubs to join our Senior Performance / National squad on Saturday mornings, along with their coaches, in a Covid-19 safe manner. We offer a learn to swim programme for children of 3 years and up, keeping Portsmouth children fit, healthy and safe. Portsmouth Northsea Learn to Swim follows the National Plan for Teaching Swimming and is delivered by fully qualified teachers and coaches.
