Portsmouth Northsea Swimming Club swimmers celebrate their success at the Hampshire County Championships after they finished top of the medals table. The County Championships took place over three full weekends in January & February at Winchester, and saw the Club swimmers come home with a total of 145 medals; 74 Gold; 27 Silver and 44 bronze medals. Last year the Club won 125 medals, so this is a big improvement and demonstrates that the Club is continuing to move forward following the pandemic.

The Portsmouth Northsea Master's Squad was in action yesterday at the Hampshire County Masters Championships 2021. Great to have the squad racing competitively again and there were fantastic swims all round! Hampshire is lucky to have a number of active Masters swimming squads, swimmers in this catergory are usually over 18 and the squad offers opportunities to swim for fun, fitness and to swim competitively. Level 4 short course meet As you may be aware we have had our licence granted for our level 4 meet in July. In order to get the licence granted we have to follow Swim England’s CV-19 guidance and National Government guidance for indoor activity so there are some differences to previous meets. All our coaches are qualfied and we train mainly at the Mlountbatten Leisure Centre pool.
