The Somerset ASA County Championships 2023 concluded on Sunday, and what an event it was. The #blueandgold army was out in force, with 73 swimmers competing this year. Every squad was represented, from our top Performance squad to the Start squad. County Champions were crowned, there were podium places a plenty, and PBs smashed. It's a festive wrap from Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield, where the Swim England Winter Championships 2022 took place this weekend. Competing across various events, our Team Bath AS stars had a good weekend swimming with some strong performances. Plymouth Leander hosted Round 2 of the prestigious National Arena League this weekend, where some of the South West’s top swimmers gathered at the Plymouth Life Centre. The National Arena League kicked off yesterday with the #blueandgoldarmy heading off to Hutton Moor Leisure Centre, Weston Super Mare, for the Western region's Round 1 of the Arena League. It's been another great week for our Team Bath AS swimmers, nine of whom competed in Swim England's Speedo National Summer Meet 2022. The English National meet was back for the first time since the pandemic and was well attended, with over 1,400 swimmers competing.
