City of Bristol Swimming Club (COB) is looking to appoint Head Coach to lead the Artistic Swimming section of the club. 

 

 

City of Bristol Swimming Club prides itself on of offering a performance programme for National and International level Artistic Swimming athletes as well as a providing a high-quality community club offer for all its swimmers. The club is centered around the modern 50m pool facility at Hengrove Park Leisure Centre to provide an excellent environment for artistic swim training.

We welcome applications from those who hold the Senior Artistic Swimming Coach qualification and those who hold the Artistic Swimming Coach qualification and have the ambition to complete the Senior Artistic Swimming Coaching qualification. 

 

The role is to lead the coaching team and Artistic Swimming programme. The Head Coach will be the lead professional for the coaching team. The successful candidate will work with the management group to ensure the delivery of a high quality and vibrant artistic swimming programme

 

Personal Qualities Required

 

•  Can  successfully lead a team  of paid coaches and volunteers,  work ing  collaboratively with others  to achieve agreed outcomes .
•  Has the vision to  plan ahead  and help shape the development of artistic swimming for COB over the coming years. 
•  Is  p rofessional in approach  and  personal in nature .
•  Is  an efficient administrator
•  Is a n effective communicator with swimmers,  colleagues  and parents. 
•  Is  a  reflective practitioner who seeks to improve  themselves and others  through feedback and  CP D .
•  Share our core values. 

 

This is a part-time role of approximately 20 hours per week. Artistic Swimming coaches work as self-employed contractors, and we would expect an artistic swimming coach for this position to bill in the region of £15,000 – depending on expertise and level of qualification.
