Transition 

City of Bristol Aquatics is a Performance Swimming Club who aim to develop the long term potential of outstanding competitors, preparing them to compete at the highest levels Regionally, Nationally and Internationally. When a Start Para swimmers meets the Squad Criteria for another squad and want to transition, Paddy will work with them and the Squad Coach to ensure a seemless move into the group. After this, Paddy will continue to check in with the swimmer and coach to ensure a good relationship is maintained.

Joining us at Start Para can allow for several routes in our inclusive squad structure: 

• Staying in Start Para - Swimmers don't have to transition if they believe it is not the right move for them 
• Academy - Swimmers aged 8-12 years who meet the Squad Criteria
• County Competition - Swimmers aged 13+ who meet the Squad Criteria 
• Parkwood Swimming Lessons - For those who attend a Start Para trial session, but may benefit more from teaching, rather than coaching
