Dear Swimmers, parents/carers As you may know swim England handed in a 50,000 signed petition to “open our pools”. This resulted in members of the government and public health officials touring 4 pools to observe how safety guidelines can be put in place. The latest announcement from the government albeit wishy washy is “sometime in July” for pools to be given the go ahead. We are delighted to announce the appointment of Jasper Lye as Keynsham Amateur Swimming Club’s Assistant Coach. Jasper started with Keynsham at the end of November (some of you may have seen him poolside) and for the first few months will be working solely with the younger Regional Potential swimmers, alongside Ruby Bird, to prepare them for The Somerset County Championships in January and February 2020.
