Official Opening of NAC Swim Club Strength and Conditioning Gym

NAC Swim Club celebrate official opening of their Gym in style

The NAC Swim Club enjoyed a very proud moment when An Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar, performed the official opening of the Clubs’ new Strength and Conditioning Gym. The Club have been fundraising significantly for some time now to cover the cost of the new facility, which is expected to add huge benefit to the ongoing land training sessions at the Club.

An Taoiseach, Leo Varakar,  President of Swim Ireland, Mr Declan Harte, and Mr Peter Hussey, representing the Swim Club, all spoke about the importance of sport in young peoples lives. Speeches were followed by light refreshments for all, thanks to the Mount Charles Group at the National Aquatic Centre.
