Welcome to our new coach!

We are pleased to announce that Jackson O’Rourke will be joining Team NSC as our new full-time coach.

Jackson is a former competitive swimmer who has raced at an international level representing Great Britain at the European Junior Open Water Championships in 2019. He has won numerous national medals and titles in both pool and open water swimming. Jackson has been a member of NSC for over 10 years and has represented the club at all levels that includes Junior League, Arena League, County, Regional and National Championships.

Having passed his qualifications Jackson has been teaching at NSC for the last 12 months gaining experience and developing his skills. He has also been helping with cover coaching across a wide range of squads.

As part of his role Jackson will be working within our teaching programme and will also be the lead coach for Gold and Performance Development Squads. Throughout his career Jackson has performed highly in 400m Individual Medley and Distance Freestyle events and so is knowledgeable in these important areas of swimmer development. He is looking forward to now helping the next generation of swimmers to improve and be the best they can be.
