NSC Future Stars Meet

Saturday 18th March 2023 saw the inaugural NSC Future Stars meet take place at the Waendel Centre in Wellingborough.

This event was the first development gala style meet we have been able to host since the return from covid. Swimmers from a range of squads including the teaching programme took part competing in distances from 25m to 50m.

This event saw many swimmers racing for the first time in individual events and also competing in the exciting relays at the end of the night!

Swimmers from the NSC competitive programme helped out at the event looking after swimmers and performing demonstration swims on all 4 strokes.

Well done to all swimmers that took part and thank you to all the new Helpers, Volunteers and Officials for helping the event to run smoothly. Without your help these events would not be possible so we appreciate it when people give up their time to support the club.

There was lots of noise and happy swimmers!

Coach O’Rourke said “Tonight has been a great event for all involved. We have had lots of positive feedback and it was great to see lots of new faces both competing and volunteering. We are all looking forward to seeing everyone again for the next one!”
