Moving on from Learn to Swim Lessons after Stage 5:

For Norwich Swan Swimmers who have passed stage 5 we would like to invite you along to a FREE squad taster session in August or early September

Cygnet Squads are the bridging squads between our Learn to Swim part of the club and our main squads.

This is an opportunity for your swimmer to come along and swim and see what Cygnet squad for Stage 6 & 7 swimmers is all about. 

Beyond Cygnet squad swimmers can move up to a Development squad at the same venue to complete the Swim England Aquatic Skills Framework stages 8-10.

It is only after this we ask swimmers to chose a competitive or non-competitive option. We have pathways for swimmers to take the competitive route or to swim weekly in a coached session for fitness if they prefer.

We are running these taster sessions:

• Saturday 26th August, 9.00-10.00am at Norwich High School for Girls school pool
• Sunday 3rd September, 12.00-1.00pm at Norwich High School for Girls pool
• Friday 8th September 6.00-7.00pm at Langley Prep, Taverham pool

If you swimmer is aged 11+ please book into this seperate session:

• Friday 25th August, 6.00-7.00 pm at Thorpe St Andrews High school pool
• Wednesday 13th September, 6.30-7.30pm at Langley prep

If your swimmer moves up to Cygnet for September we have a choice of 3 venues and will offer sessions 6 days a week:

• Town Close School
• Thorpe St Andrews High
• Langley Prep at Taverham 

Parents are welcome to stay and watch the sessions.
