Regional Age Squad
Lead Coach: Stewart Park
Objective
The focus shifts to speed and endurance sets being introduced alongside the continued technique focus. There is a control in the number of sessions available to Regional age swimmers, whilst allowing enough flexibility to ensure that the swimmers can attend the number of sessions needed to progress to and perform at a regional level. With the majority number of swimmers in this squad being at high school/will be starting high school when they join regional age, there are two evenings off swimming each week to allow swimmers to keep on top of their school work and keep everything in balance.
Minimum Session Requirement: 5
Equipment Needed: Kick Board, Pull buoy, Hand Paddles, Snorkel, Roller, Stretch Bands, Water Bottle
