Swimmers Swimmer of the Year 2022
The Winner of this years award was..... Charlotte Smith! Well done to Charlotte and to all of those who were nominated.
This year we had 31 nominations, for 18 swimmers, from across the squads for the Swimmers Swimmer of the Year 2022 award. The nominees are:

She came back from a broken arm, watched her twin sister get moved up and still kept on swimming, trying her best every session.

Because she has worked really well this season and is AMAZING.
After a setback from an injury, she has come back with an incredible attitude to swimming. At galas, Liv is supportive, kind and a great swimmer to be around!

Her hard work is a true inspiration to me.
Lily is a really friendly and inclusive member of Norwich Swan. She works really hard in training to improve her speed and technique. Lily has set the county record for the 400m freestyle for swimmers of the same classification. She also qualified for the nationals for multiple events.

Reasons for nomination - For working hard in all her meets and for getting to compete in the Commonwealth Team GB test games.

Extreme hardwork, progress and determination. She’s defied all our expectations and made the club proud :)
She has achieved awesome results this year at nationals and always works hard at training and is kind and friendly to everybody - she deserves this award, she’s a National Champion

Reasons for nomination - I would like to nominate Isla Hamilton because she is such a great swimmer who works so hard in training and she keeps going when things are tough, and seeing her grow so strong this year and swim in the nationals is really inspiring to me.
