Level 2 Teachers Required

Norwich Swan Swimming Club are currently recruiting Level 2 Qualified Swimming Teachers for our expanding Learn to Swim Programme.  We have an inclusive approach to swimming and our ethos is to be a friendly club with a passion for helping every swimmer to achieve their full potential, whatever that may look like.

You will be responsible for teaching swimming to swimmers aged 4-10 years old.  All our Learn to Swim lessons are based on the Swim England National Plan for Teaching Swimming from stages 1 to 6. At stage 6+ our swimmers then transition into our squads.

Applicants must be 18 years+ and hold an ASA/Swim England Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Aquatics or an STA equivalent and have a current Lifesaving Qualification (Rescue Test or NPLQ).

Our Teachers and Coaches work for the club on a self employed basis, and must have a permit to work in the UK. You will also be required to undergo safeguarding training and a DBS check prior to commencing the role.

If you are a motivated team player with drive, enthusiasm and excellent interpersonal skills, who can build good rapport with swimmers, their parents, the existing Swan teaching & coaching team, and our club members, then we want to hear from you.

We currently have positions available on Saturdays at Norwich High School for Girls and on Wednesday evening at Broadland High within Learn to Swim, however there may be other opportunities arising as well as the possibility of coaching in our junior squads in the future if you are the right candidate.

To Apply: Please email [email protected] with details of your qualifications and experience as well as your availability.  Our classes are evening and weekends, and this role will be on a part time basis.
