Swan Open Meet Gala Report - Day 1

The first day of the Swan Meet went quickly in all senses of the word! All of the swimmers showed huge progress from our previous meets. This is what we are looking for at every gala, progress.
Progress in skills, progress in execution, progress in mindset, progress in confidence and when all these things come together the times take care of themselves! Across the squads, I can see the transfer from the training pool to the racing pool.
Sometimes things don’t quite work out as you plan them to but if you keep learning and working you will always get there!

Congratulations to swimmers who gained RQT's:
James Noble (100 breast)
Maddie Brock (50 breast) the first one is always special. Very well deserved Maddie!
Hannah Jarrett (50 breast)
Charlotte Smith (50 & 200 Free)
Fran Salmon (100 & 200 Free)
Sam Coman (100 fly)
Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard to make this meet possible especially all the volunteers and officials.
Let’s continue the good work tomorrow. Learn, build, be even better!
Please remember the clocks go forwards, & warm up is at 9.30am.
And most importantly of all Happy Mother’s Day to all our Swan Mum’s.

Kind Regards
