Norwich Swan Swimming Club

Coaching Vacancy

Norwich Swan Swimming Club are looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 coach to complement our existing experienced coaching team.

We are a vibrant and fast growing competitive club consistently producing County, Regional & National level medallists.  Our team recently finished in the top 8 of East Midlands Arena League Division 1 and we look to field two teams next season. We have around 500 swimmers in squads, and a thriving Learn to Swim programme with 800+members. We pride ourselves on excellent links with other clubs in Norfolk and the surrounding areas.

Norwich Swan has an inclusive approach to swimming and our ethos is to be a friendly club with a passion for helping every swimmer to achieve their full potential whatever that may look like.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate:  We are looking for an ambitious and motivated team player with drive, enthusiasm and excellent interpersonal skills who can build good rapport with their Swimmers, the existing Swan coaching team and club members.

We can provide mentoring and development opportunities for the right candidate, so your personal qualities, commitment and desire to learn are more important than your experience.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about swimming, open to change and willing to try new approaches to develop their coaching skills. A strong desire for future development and the ability to grasp feedback quickly are essential. You should also be a self starter who is capable of working independently. Former competitive swimming experience would be an advantage.

You will have opportunities to coach both Age group and Youth squads depending on your experience and personal development goals.
