Club Champs
Club Championships are held every year at the start of each season, normally mid October.
Club Champs is a Club Competition across all of the competitive distances (except 50m) for each of the four strokes (where applicable) plus 200m and 400m Individual Medley races. Girls compete in an 800m FreeStyle races whilst boys compete in a 1,500m Freestyle race.
No payment is required for the competition as it is covered by the annual membership fee.
This is a licensed meet so all times will be sent to the ASA for inclusion in the national rankings. This is a great opportunity to record County times or your first time if you are new to the club.
Awards:
Medals are awarded to the fastest three swimmers in each Event/Age Group. In addition Trophies and/or awards for 1st place are presented at the Club's Annual Award Night.
Age Groups:
All Events have awards for the following Age Groups:
10 and under, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and over
except the following:
100m Events also include an award for the 9 years and under Age Group.
The 400IM has the following Age Groups only - 12 and under, 13, 14, 15 and 16 and over.
