Masters South East Region Short Course Championships Saturday 2nd October 2021, Crawley This is the first Masters meet anyone has been able to compete at since early March 2020, and sadly, the team was smaller than anticipated due to injury and illness. Elowyn has been selected for the 2021-22 Swim England Para- Swimming Talent Programme. Elowyn’s hard work and dedication during and between lockdowns has been rewarded with a place on this year’s Talent programme. Patrick and the rest of the coaching team are proud of her selection and look forward to supporting her through her Para swimming journey. Evie Hallas has now been classified as a GB Para swimmer! Due to an extensive waiting list and the effects of Covid Evie has had to wait almost 3 years for her formal classification to be conducted. Evie travelled to the Aquatics centre in Manchester, the base of GB Para swimming, where she was assessed. The classifiers remarked on her skills and technique, a credit to her coaches at WDSC.
