SwimMark Club

Dear Member/Parent/Guardian

I would just like to update on some changes to procedures on the back of the new isolation guidelines.

Anyone who is under 18 or has had the second covid vaccination (14 days before the close contact) no longer have to isolate if you have been in contact with a positive covid case. The Government recommend you take a PCR test if you are named as a contact. If you do not meet this criteria then you will still have to isolate for 10 days.

You must still advise the club if a swimmer/player tests positive for Covid as we have procedures still in place.

Changes at Castle Leisure.
Anyone attending a session at castle may now spectate. 1 adult per swimmer/player. Please continue to wait to be brought into the session. At the end of the session you must wait outside to collect your child. Do not congregate in the reception area. Please wear a mask in the communal areas. Please try and keep your distance when spectating to help reduce the transmission of covid.
NO SHOWERS TO BE USED we do not have the time at the end of sessions .
You can still drop off and collect if you do not want to spectate.

Changes at Radcliffe
NO SPECTATORS this is as per Bury Leisure request. Parents may be allowed to attend for medical reasons or to support very young swimmers. This must be agreed by Nicci and Yasmin.
If you swim at the session times
Wed/Fri 8.30pm and 9.00pm
Sunday 4pm
Please come straight into the leisure centre and queue on the ramp. A member of the team will then allow you poolside. We will no longer be meeting you at the door.
Sessions starting 7.45pm Wed/Fri and 3.30pm Sunday- we will continue to meet you outside to take the register and let you in when the poolside is ready.
NO SHOWERS TO BE USED. We do not have time at the end of the sessions.

Please ensure you are there at the end of the session on time to collect your child. As the nights start to draw in please can you come to meet your child as we can’t see into the car parks.

Once again I would like to thank you for all your support and understanding.

Many Thanks
Yasmin Poxton.
