April 2022 - Racing Update ( Seagulls Open Meet / British Champs / Portsmouth)

Christchurch Seagulls Open Meet 2022
At the begining of April the club were able to make a little bit of club history and the start of April being able to host the first ever Christchurch seagulls open meet at Dorchester leisure centre.
The meet ran smoothly and a massive thank you to all that was involved with making it such a success.
Overall meet results included:
83 x Golds
46 x Silvers
38 x Bronzes
235 Pbs out of 301 swims
Plus, top Male (Isaac Thring) & Female (Neve Truscott) Swimmers of the meet
British Swimming Championships 2022
Seagulls had 3 swimmers competing at the event up in Sheffield which is the highest level of meet that can be achieved before international.
This competition was used as a qualifier to the biggest international competitions such as commonwealth games, European champs & World champs which all happening this year. Also including European and world junior competitions.
All swimmers were able to come away with great experiences racing at the top level and results were:
