The organisation and operation of Bletchley & District Swimming Club is the responsibility of its committee. The Committee is in charge or organising the efficient running of the club. All committee members are elected to their posts but offer their time freely as volunteers. The duties of the committee are wide ranging and encompass all aspects of the club's administration such as finance, membership, welfare and child protection, pool hire, liaising with third parties, club galas, competition entries, sponsorship, and of course supporting the club's coaching team.
The Committee meet every second Monday of the month (except August) to discuss any issues related to the running of the club. This includes long-term issues in a planning capacity as well as small more immediate matters that arise during the swimming year.
Every September, the committee has its Annual General Meeting (AGM) to summarise the general state of the swimming club and to elect new members of the committee.
