NOVA Centurion celebrates brilliant results at East Midlands Short Course Championships Swimmers from NOVA Centurion kicked off the new competitive season with a commanding performance at the annual East Midlands Regional Short Course Championships. Paralympic swimmer Callum Lawson has been appointed as Nottingham County Swim Squad and NOVA Centurion's new head coach for Mansfield. Nottinghamshire ASA are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Imrie as assistant head coach for the Nottinghamshire County Swim Squad and NOVA Centurion. Paul, 35, is a Level 2 qualified coach who has been working with the programme for the past year and has previously coached at Nottingham Northern and Arnold swimming clubs. A new crop of Nottinghamshire's brightest young swimming talent is about to start an exciting journey after completing County Swim Squad/NOVA Centurion selection trials. Base clubs from across the county nominated promising swimmers to take part in the trials, which were held at Harvey Hadden recently.
