Sunday, 7th October Inter-counties competition at Sheffield

The ASA runs an Inter-County Team Event each year in October. This event attracts the best swimmers from across all the English Counties. There are 2 divisions in the league and Berkshire & South Buckinghamshire County is currently in Division 1 after being promoted for winning Division 2 last year. The Event is usually on a Sunday with the team travelling on the Saturday up to Sheffield and staying overnight.

This year we are very proud to announce that Olivia Lee, Sadie Lucas and James McClenn were selected to swim and represent our club at the National Inter-County Team Competition. Our county finished mid table (14th out of 20)

Saturday, 13th October National Arena League Round 1

36 Otters travelled to Bracknell Leisure Centre to swim against Bracknell, Farnham, Dorking, Worthing and Maxwell Swimming Clubs in the 1st round of the Arena League. Blue wigs and tutus were worn by all in a great team spirit. We managed to finish in 3rd place just below Farnham and Bracknell. We have never finished higher than 7th place overall in this division. If we step up one place we would be in the A gala (best 6 teams in the division) go into the last round so keep training hard!

The full results can be found below link.

Massive well done to our swimmers for the great swims (and lots of new pbs!!!).
