City of Milton Keynes Water Polo club is a friendly team that trains at Stantonbury Campus. From age 16 years+. From newbies to long time returners, you are welcome along.
Training
Our main session is at Stantonbury Campus Leisure Centre on Thursdays; 20:30pm ’til 22:00.
The pool is 6 lanes by 25m long, 2.0m deep going down to the shallow end at 1.1m.
Your kit can be brought onto poolside although lockers are provided.

What standard do I need to be?
All standards are welcome over the age of 18 years. Whether you are new to the sport or looking to return after a long break you will be welcome. You’ll need to be able to swim lengths for about half an hour and be comfortable with some contact while playing games.
How much does it cost?
Sessions are a ‘Pay-As-You-Go’ arrangement; about £3, payable to the reception on entering the leisure centre. To join local league, you will need to become a member of CMKSC and pay the necessary ASA fees.
Do I have to compete?
Not if you don’t want to; however, if you want to play in the league team, you will need to be a member.
** NEW** Junior Water Polo
Come and try our Junior Water Polo! Every Thursday, 19:00- 20:00 at Stantonbury pool. £3.50 per week. Players will learn new aquatic skills within the sport of Water Polo, whilst at the same time improving their stroke technique and swimming stamina. All boys and girls, 10years of age or older are invited to come and try out this sport, but they must be able to swim a minimum of 100m and be confident in deep water. Coaching is led by several of our senior players who have many years of experience behind them. Girls should wear a one-piece costume and boys should wear trunks rather than shorts.
