A large and successful club like Shiverers is only as good as its coaches, volunteers and members. We’re incredibly proud of ours.

Volunteer Level 1 coach Ese Stacey

Ese is mum to 3 kids who swim for Shiverers. Having sat on poolside for more than a decade, she thought it was time to lend a hand and become a volunteer coach. When not home-educating her daughter Hannah, she works as a Sports Doctor.

The club is run by a committee and members are guided and supported by a great team of coaches (profiles above).

There is also a large pool of volunteers, who help with a variety of roles from coaching to running the club shop, organizing social events, and officiating at galas.

We are always looking for new volunteers and it’s a great way to get to know more people at our friendly club.  Please take a look at our volunteers page for more information.
