On joining Shiverers there are two annual one off fees which must be paid for immediately: 

Club Membership and Swim England Registration Fee ( see below for full details) .

Members will also be asked to set up a monthly bank transfer, or standing order for Monthly swim fees. These fees vary according to swimming group/squad and details can be found below

The Fee Year runs from 1 April - 31 March, with a reduction being made for swimmers tranferring or joining later in the year.

 

 

 

Student Fee Reduction as follows

For those transerring or joining between July – September a reduced fee of £75 is payable
For those transferring or joining between October – December a reduced fee of £50 is payable
For those transferring or joining between January – March a reduced fee of £25 is payable



 

2019-20 MEMBERSHIP FEE (one off payment/yearly)

Annual membership runs from 1 April – 31 March, with a reduction being made for those joining later in the year.

Individual Membership (swimmers): £40.00
For those joining between July – September 2019 a reduced fee of £31 is payable
For those joining between October – December 2019, the fee is £24
For those joining between January – March 2020, the fee is £12

Parents/Guardian Membership: £10.00 (Optional)
Parent/Guardian members have voting rights at the Club AGM

Volunteer Membership: Free.

In addition to SHIVERERS membership, annual Swim England membership is required to be paid per swimmer, membership runs annually from January to December and the club collects the fees in December each year.  Members who do not pay their Swim England fees by the published deadline will be charged an admin fee of £5.00

ALL members MUST have Swim England membership which is required for insurance purposes.

SWIM ENGLAND FEES ( due 1st Jan each year)

Category 1 - £14.95   (for non-competitive swimmers, or those competing in club galas only. Club Championships are included)
Category 2 - £33.50   (For competitive swimmers. Please note that without upgrading to Category 2 membership, swimmers will not be able to compete in external galas.)
Category 3 - £5.20     (For those not in categories 1 & 2 above, such as parents, volunteers, officials and life-members)

Currently, all monthly swim fees should be paid into:

Gala fees, Swim England (ASA) fees and annual membership fees should be paid into a separate account:

Shiverers SC, Sort Code: 40-25-03, Account Number: 21390406. Please use ref SEMF and the swimmers name as the reference.

Important reminders about monthly swimming fees

Please remember that we are a voluteer run club, (fees only go towards paying for coaches and pool time) if you do not pay your fees, the person having to chase you is taking up their valuable time that could could be better served helping the running of club. we hope you'll help us to make sure all fees and memberships are paid on time, thankyou.

  • Please reference bank payments with the swimmer’s name.

  • If fees are not paid then members will not be allowed in the pool.

  • There is no ‘payment holiday’ option. If payments are suspended without prior agreement, members will be lapsed and their place will be give to someone on the waiting list. On rejoining, the membership fee will be payable again to cover costs.

  • One months notice must be given when leaving the club. Please ensure that this notice is given in writing so that we can contact people on waiting lists, if applicable, to take up the place.
