On joining Shiverers there are two annual  fees which must be paid upon request : 

Club Membership and Swim England Registration Fee (see below for full details) .

Members will be asked to pay the above fees by credit card through Teamunify. These fees vary according to swimming group/squad and details can be found below

2021-22 MEMBERSHIP FEE (one off payment/yearly)

Annual membership runs from 1st  September – 31st August

Acadamy Annual Membership : £20 

For those joining between March - August : £10

Annual membership for squad swimmers

Individual Membership (swimmers): £65.00
Family discount  - 2nd Member : £50

                              3rd Member : £40

Parents/Guardian Membership: £10.00 (Optional)
Parent/Guardian members have voting rights at the Club AGM

Volunteer Membership: Free.

 

PLEASE NOTE

In addition to SHIVERERS membership, Annual Swim England membership is required to be paid per swimmer, membership runs annually from January to December and the club collects the fees on 1st January each year through the Teamunify billing system.  Members who do not pay their Swim England fees by the published deadline will be charged an admin fee of £5.00

ALL members MUST have Swim England membership which is required for insurance purposes.

SWIM ENGLAND FEES ( due 1st Jan each year)

Club Train  - £15.50   (for non-competitive swimmers, or those competing in club galas only. Club Championships are included)
Club Compete - £37.00   (For competitive swimmers. Please note that without upgrading to Category 2 membership, swimmers will not be able to compete in external galas.)
Club Support - £5.50     (For those not in categories 1 & 2 above, such as parents, volunteers, officials and life-members)

IMPORTANT REMINDERS ABOUT MONTHLY SWIMMING FEES

Please remember that we are a volunteer run club, (fees only go towards paying for coaches and pool time) if you do not pay your fees, the person having to chase you is taking up their valuable time that could could be better served helping the running of club. We hope you'll help us to make sure all fees and memberships are paid on time, thankyou.

  • If fees are not paid then members will not be allowed in the pool.

  • There is no ‘payment holiday’ option. If payments are suspended without prior agreement, members will be lapsed and their place will be give to someone on the waiting list. On rejoining, the membership fee will be payable again to cover costs.

  • One months notice must be given when leaving the club. Please ensure that this notice is given in writing to the membership Secretary so that we can contact people on waiting lists, if applicable, to take up the place.
