W&DSC Trophy Galas

In addition to the league programmes, the club also competed at various locations in galas of varying levels throughout the year. These galas allow a variety of swimmers across all ages and squads to compete in competitions all year around in a specific programme that is balanced. The Home relay gala is always an exciting start to the season and leads onto many home and away trophy gala’s throughout the year, including Christmas galas with disco’s to hosting junior development gala’s and away novice gala’s. Gala’s always create a great team atmosphere where they can socialise more and support each other across the age groups and squads. We encourage all swimmers to travel on the team bus which gives the swimmers more chance to get to know each better as a team and have fun!
